Mechanical Technician

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and integration of advanced mechanical and electromechanical systems used in space applications. The Mechanical Technician will support engineering teams by assembling, testing, and modifying flight hardware in a cleanroom environment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in mechanical manufacturing or integration.

Responsibilities :

• Perform mechanical assembly and integration of flight hardware using engineering drawings and process documentation.
• Execute bonding operations using adhesives for thermal, electrical, and structural applications.
• Handle sensitive components with strict adherence to ESD and contamination control protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams to ensure task completion and quality.
• Provide feedback to improve manufacturability and design efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report hardware status to supervisors.
• Operate within cleanroom environments and high bays.
• Travel and work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
