Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position supports middle school students in a Life Skills classroom setting, serving 4-6 students with assistance from a Classroom Aide and 1 : 1 student supports. The role spans the 2025-2026 school year and is based in Manteno, IL.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with life skills needs
• Collaborating with aides and support staff to provide individualized student support
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching techniques as necessary
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
