Job description

As a Sales Manager at Honeywell, you will have a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and managing a team of sales representatives. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and providing strategic insights to senior management. Your expertise in sales, leadership, and strategic thinking will directly impact the company's sales performance and contribute to its overall business growth and market leadership.

You will report directly to our Global S&S Sales Leader and you'll work remotely in the United States.

As a people leader at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting our employees to help them perform at their best and drive change across the company. As a key leader, you will continuously work to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.

In this role, you will impact the growth and success of the Vision Solutions business by driving the team to engage with customers (OEMs) who are looking to integrate our scan engines and cameras into their products they are bringing to market. Your team will be responsible for identifying new design targets and position our embedded products and software to be the selected components for the customer. Your team will also be responsible to position the other solutions within the Solutions and Services portfolio for consideration for sale within the OEM customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets

Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales quotas

Drive the team to acquire new logos and new design wins within the Vision Solutions portfolio while also enduring the team is also positioning all of our other solutions and services capabilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and drive continuous improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding, order processing, and support

Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth and market leadership

Responsible to work closely with regional leadership in the US&C regions and align on the regional forecast outlooks to roll up into the global S&S forecast

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and / or sales management

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

WE VALUE

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field

Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field

Passion for sales and achieving results

2 years in a leadership or managerial role

Strategic thinking and ability to drive sales performance improvement

Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics

Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets

Continuous learning and adaptability
