• Work in a high-volume emergency department with over 100,000 visits annually
• Patient ratios : typically 4 : 1 for medical patients, up to 7 : 1 for ED behavioral holds
• Must work every other weekend
• No floating outside of emergency department but must be flexible to work in all sections within the ED
• 101-bed emergency department with comprehensive trauma and stroke capabilities
• Equipment includes Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Documentation system : Cerner
• Required certifications before start date : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Dress code : Navy scrubs
• Must have 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency room setting
• Previous Level 2 trauma center experience preferred
• Previous HCA experience preferred
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Patient experience requirements include AIDET, respectful behavior, and keeping boards updated
