Required : Speech-Language Pathology license issued by LBESPA / ASHA Certification / BLS from American Heart Association(only), 1 year experience required, pediatric experience preferred / Acute and inpatient rehab / 0 - 21 years
Summary : The Speech Pathologist is responsible for diagnosing and providing therapy for any of the following patients : neonates, infants, toddlers,
school age children, adolescent and young adults, and adults who demonstrate disorders of communication and swallowing. Plans, organizes
and coordinates the care of all assigned cases. In consultation with other disciplines / professionals, selects outcome goals and skilled
interventions. Effectively uses agency and community resources, to achieve patient and family independence with patient care in the patient's
residence.
