We are looking for a dedicated Transporter like you to be a part of our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Radiology Transporter will work under the supervision of the Department Director or Clinical Lead and assist the imaging staff in providing patient care.

You will deliver high quality, patient-centered care services related to any transports needed within the facility.

• You will safely transport patients to assigned areas and adhere to all appropriate hospital and regulatory policies.
• You will clean the transport equipment daily, replenish oxygen tanks, stock linens and keep the blanket supply replenished in the appropriate warmers.
• You will assist the radiology technologist with patient transfers and observations.
• You will assist as needed with department clerical duties that may include assembling and maintaining charts, filing, answering and transferring phones, and relaying messages.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
