Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Research Administrative Assistant to join their dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a keen interest in the healthcare or clinical research industry, looking to gain valuable experience and contribute to our research endeavors.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing administrative support to our clinical research team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
This is a long term, no end date, opportunity that is full time and has a possibility to convert to a permanent role with our client.
We are hiring with the goal of this employee being the POC for the administrative asks from the team long term.
Key Responsibilities :
- Phone and Communication Management :
- Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing calls, providing timely and accurate information. Maintain polite and professional communication via phone and email.
- Appointment Scheduling :
- Organize and schedule appointments for the research team, participants, and other stakeholders. Coordinate meeting logistics and prepare meeting materials as needed.
- Mailing and Shipping :
- Prepare, mail, and ship clinical supplies and documents, ensuring accurate delivery to both domestic and international locations.
Track shipments and manage any issues that may arise during the process.
- Administrative Support :
- Assist with the maintenance of project files and documentation. Support the research team with data entry and the preparation of reports.
Help with other administrative tasks as required. Requirements :
Education :
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in healthcare, administration, or related field preferred. Experience :
- Prior experience in an administrative role preferred.
- Some exposure to the healthcare or clinical research industry is advantageous. Skills :
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information over the phone, in writing, and in person.
- Good computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new software quickly.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks. Attributes :
