Warehouse Supervisor - Midshift

The Warehouse Supervisor is dynamic,hands-on role that will be responsible for managing all aspects ofshipping department functions including but not limited tomanaging, training and motivating personnel, as well ascoordinating overall process improvement.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all Shipping activities includingmanagement of personnel, processes, tools, andequipment.
• Responsible for processing shipping150-250 UPS and FedEx outbound packages daily & 10 -15 palletsLTL shipments.
• Experienced with internationalshipping.
• Manage a team of up to tenworkers.
• Coordinate with other departments toinsure a seamless flow of materials and information to assureadequate service level to customers.
• Initiateand facilitate process improvements, help maintain inventory,maintain warehouse, ensure warehouse is organized.
• Analyze department workload and scheduling of personnelto insure efficient and on time service meeting cost and qualityobjectives.
• Conduct regular meetings withdepartment personnel to address goals and objectives.
• Help establish and enforce company work rules and safetyprocedure to assure a clean and safe work environment is promotedand maintained.

Requirements :

• Minimum 5-year experience with Shippingincluding supervising personnel.
• High SchoolDiploma, some College preferred.
• Familiar withERP system.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office : Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Experience workingwith and preparing Bill of Ladings, and CommercialInvoices.
• Excellent oral and writtencommunications skills.
• Ability to communicatewith personnel at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to communicate with vendors.
• Ability to track shipments and audit freightbills.
• Experience with FedEx and UPSWorldShip.
• Positive Attitude, Ethics, whichsupport our company’s values and a healthy, high performanceculture.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) aplus.
