We are looking for a detailed-oriented, proactive, and quality-driven Vice President of Operations to serve as part of our culinary services team.

In this role, you will oversee HHS culinary programs at multiple locations. You will motivate your onsite management and cooking teams by creating a positive culture of success and implementing HHS programs.

Youll also manage the success of day-to-day operations within your region by ensuring that policies and best practices set forth by senior leadership are carried out.

Responsibilities :

• Recruit top management talent for your region
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of their management teams and provide tangible development plans for future growth
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of HCAHPS and safety programs, ensuring that fiscal responsibility is exercised
• Foster positive relationships between HHS and hospital administration teams
• Set clear expectations and performance goals across all accounts
• Utilize several techniques for training, such as one-on-one training, workshops, and meetings

Requirements :

• College degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years managing operations at multiple locations
• Must be able to relocate for promotional opportunities
• Ability to multitask, manage personnel remotely, and travel a minimum 30 percent of their time (both air and ground)

Skills :

• Must possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must be proactive, self motivated, and demonstrate an ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Ability to multitask, manage personnel remotely, and travel a minimum 30 percent of the time (both air and ground)
• Strong customer service orientation with a sense of urgency.
• Communicate effectively with customers and management teams, both orally and in writing.

HHS Summary :

HHS was founded in 1975 by Jim Spry, who began his work in the outsourcing business in 1964 with Red Top, Inc, a company that pioneered hospital housekeeping support services.

Jim helped Red Top grow into a national organization and later helped a competitor establish its business after Red Top sold.

His experience in the field led to the development of HHS. Throughout the past 45+ years of business, HHS has developed our expertise in integral support services including housekeeping, food services, facility maintenance, and technology for the healthcare, government, senior living, resort, aviation, and education industries.
