The Global Manager for Logistics EHS plays a crucial role in driving a culture of safety and operational excellence within GE Vernova's logistics operations. This position requires a proactive leader who embodies commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire a culture of accountability, and leverage data-driven insights to implement strategic initiatives that mitigate risks and enhance safety performance. As a Global Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of safety incidents, analyzing data to identify root causes, and implementing effective preventative measures. You will collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to share lessons learned and promote best practices, ensuring that safety is integrated into all aspects of logistics operations. Through the application of Lean methodology, you will focus on identifying and addressing key safety challenges, fostering an environment of open communication and shared responsibility. You will also lead efforts to standardize training programs, reinforcing critical safety protocols across regional and functional teams. Your leadership will guide the development and improvement of safety documentation and auditing processes, ensuring adherence to the highest standards. By qualifying and managing provider relationships based on performance and compliance, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe supply chain.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in the safety domain, including heavy haul and out-of-gauge movements. Working knowledge of OSHA, IMDG, IATA, ADR, US DOT Hazmat / Dangerous Goods regulations. Familiarity with cranes, rigging, lifting drawings, and transportation permitting requirements. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in a global environment. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred. Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies and digital EHS tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, EHS management software, and data analytics platforms. Experience in a multinational, matrixed organization. Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
