Job descriptionAssist with the Quality Management System, as well but not limited to performing QMS functions, Inspections, Training, Creation of C of C’s, issuing and monitoring of purchase orders for external services. Assist in developing and maintaining trends, tracking vendors and departments. Assure that products are compliant with quality standards and any specifications. Fill out NCF’s (QA’s), if issues are found with required information. Document and maintain Daily / Monthly / Quarterly trend logs and records Be a key contributor of the team in providing support the companies Objective’s Goals to meet and exceed expectations while achieving customer satisfaction. Receiving, In-Process or Final inspection stages. Follow and establish company W.I. & procedures. The primary work environment office and the production floor. Able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift. Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns. While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required. Employee maybe required to lead production shop tours. Employee will have meetings in the shop requiring the wearing of personal protective equipment. Ability to assist a machine operator to understand process flow. Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns. Able to operate office equipment such as computers, copy machines, etc. Able to sit for prolonged time periods plus occasional walking to stooping. Bachelor's degree in Quality or a related field a plus. Six Sigma Training a plus. Certified Internal Auditor training a plus. Can use basic types of hand inspection equipment. i.e. Hand Tools (Height Gage, Caliper(s), Micrometer(s). Able to participate / maintain quality management systems. (ISO9001 or AS9100) Must be able to work well with other departments, prioritize job duties and build team development. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment for 5+ years a plus in quality and with quality systems. ERP / MRP software experience a plus Strong work ethic and integrity as well as the ability to practice discretion when being exposed to or handling confidential information. Strong multi-tasking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Mechanical aptitude with strong math skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite and safety management software.
