Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Billing / Collection Specialist to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Matawan Office. This position will be primarily responsible for resolving denied / underpaid claims and following up with insurances for collecting reimbursements. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, compassionate, and have a strong background in medical billing—especially in Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Pain Management, and Physical Therapy billing.

Job Title : Billing / Collection Specialist

Salary / Pay Rate : $22.00 - $24.00 per hour , depending on specialty and experience

Hours : 40 hours per week

Job Type : Full-time

Job Title Duties (not limited to) :

• Efficiently manage and collect outstanding patient balances while maintaining a compassionate, patient-first approach
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing, payments, and insurance coverage in a clear and empathetic manner
• Explain financial responsibilities and payment options to patients
• Review patient accounts and ensure accuracy of charges in accordance with healthcare billing regulations and payer guidelines
• Build trust with patients by ensuring transparency and support throughout the billing process
