We are seeking a compassionate, professional, family oriented Full-Time Rehabilitation Tech.

The Rehabilitation Tech is responsible f or assisting Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy staff in the functioning of the Rehabilitation Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A REHABILITATION TECH :

Transports patients to and from therapy.

Filing as needed.

Order supplies for nourishments provided to patients and document on Sigma Care system.

Clean department equipment as needed, i.e. mat tables, walkers, refrigerator, microwave, etc. and make sure in running order.

Obtain clean laundry and return dirty laundry.

Stock supplies as needed, i.e. slipper socks, basins, copy paper, office supplies; and perform other duties as directed.

Restorative Dining.

Set up residents and assist with passing of resident meals.

Recording temperatures.

Maintain order in supply / equipment closets and control inventory of equipment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF A REHABILITATION TECH :

Work requires frequently lifting and carrying objects up to 20 pounds ·

Work requires regularly lifting and carrying objects weighing 21 to 50 pounds.

Work requires frequently stooping and bending, pushing and pulling, reaching above the shoulder, sitting, standing, walking, grasping and fine motor manipulation with the hands, proofreading and checking documents for accuracy, and use of computer systems.

REHABILITATION TECH QUALIFICATIONS :

Must be familiar with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy programs.

Must be able to read, write and perform independently.
