The Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of Building & Mechanical Equipment used for processing in an industrial laundry setting.

Candidates should possess building / mechanical maintenance & repair knowledge, and a thorough professional mindset with the ability to trouble shoot & problem solve.

Candidates should be detail oriented w / ability to work autonomously when necessary, and comply with all health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities :

• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor system, HVAC system, compressors, and production related machinery.
• Performing general building electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Completing Machinery and Building Maintenance Logs
• Communicating detailed progress on projects in progress.
• Inspecting, assessing functionality, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery.
• Surveying buildings to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
• Installation or adjustments of mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
• Conducting general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years' work experience as an industrial maintenance technician

Ability to work 2nd Shift (10a-8p) onsite in the Indianapolis, IN facility

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & industrial control systems
• Working knowledge of hand & stationary tools
• Good communication, time management & problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift & manipulate heavy equipment
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards & regulations
• Secondary education / degree or certification in mechanical maintenance technology or relevant field a plus!
• Boiler technical skills a plus!
• Must be able & willing to pass a background check & drug screening
