Job description
Seeking a highly technical Full Stack Java Developer for a full-time remote position, responsible for maintaining and enhancing backend and web-based applications while contributing to the evolution of a modular trade management platform. Key responsibilities Contributes to the design, development, and implementation of backend services and web applications Writes clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while collaborating with frontend developers to integrate backend services with UI components Participates in Agile teams, breaking down user stories into technical tasks and ensuring the stability and reliability of existing systems Required qualifications 5-8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong Java fundamentals (Java 21 preferred) and solid experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot Experience building and consuming REST APIs, along with good knowledge of React (version 17) and SQL relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) Proficiency in version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle), with a strong focus on clean code and unit testing Familiarity with Agile development practices and comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments Experience with trading platforms or broader financial services systems is preferred
