Platform Software Engineer

Working remotely on a long-term open-ended contract basis, the Platform & Infrastructure Software Engineer will develop and support core platform services, manage virtualization environments, and implement automation solutions for scalable network modeling and simulation. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain core simulation platform services, node drivers, and runtime components Manage virtualization environments including Libvirt/KVM, Docker, Proxmox, Nutanix, and VMware Design, develop, and support REST APIs, SDKs, and automation integrations Required qualifications 5+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure development experience Strong programming experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, Libvirt, Docker, and VMware Experience developing RESTful APIs, SDKs, and automation solutions Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
