Job descriptionBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a similar relevant field of study. Education Equivalency : Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a similar relevant field of study, plus 2 years of Human Resources experience, or 4 years of Human Resources experience if no post-secondary education. Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org / vets / find / military 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI without relocation assistance. Ability to travel in-state as needed. Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position. SHRM Certified Professional or equivalent HR Certification. Bilingual (Spanish / English). SAP (Success Factors) experience. HR experience in an hourly manufacturing environment supporting multiple locations or value streams with 100+ headcount. Human Resources Business Partner (Components Plant) - Holland, MI (Onsite) role at West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned plant(s), supporting employee relations, talent development, and compliance.
- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR solutions.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct thorough investigations into member issues, including harassment, discrimination, and performance concerns.
- Implement HR programs, such as talent acquisition, performance management, and member development.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with / without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
