A custom Aviation upholstery supplier is looking for a Purchasing Manager near Dallas, TX area. The company offers a host of value added processes such as : decorative quilting, stitching, embroidery, printing, embossing, laser etching, perforating, cut to pattern, etc.
The Purchasing Manager will be an individual contributor and will be a critical liaison to the manufacturing partners in Italy.
The individual will have to work closely with the quality team to understand how to properly address and follow up on action items pertaining to the core suppliers.
Responsibilities include utilizing databases to collect and analyze purchasing data, utilize communication skills to negotiate agreements with suppliers, and purchasing materials based on quantity projections.
