Project Accountant
The Project Accountant is responsible for tracking the expenses such as time, material, labor and other costs incurred on the project against revenue / profitability in order to assist in making financial decisions regarding those jobs as well as future jobs. This includes analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures. Will provide full and monthly accounting and forecasting for the project supporting the regional / division controller. Will adhere to company and accounting policies for the project and be involved with estimating costs including estimated recoveries on claims and changes. Will timely escalate issues regarding accounting and forecasting to the controller, treasurer and CFO.
This position will report to the Controller and will be required to travel to job sites, primarily the New Rochelle office of the PSA project and attend in person project update meetings.
