Pacifica Hotels is looking for a Junior Staff Accountant to join the team at our Home Office in Aliso Viejo, CA! The Junior Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries, detailed reports, and account reconciliations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Independent Judgment Used: Frequently within the guidelines established by management and to the extent of operating within Pacifica Hotel Company policies and procedures.
Working Conditions/Environment: Office Environment
Qualifications: BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. One to two years prior experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area. Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Experience with NetSuite is a plus. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required.
Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift of boxes of files weighing up to 20 lbs. Occasional filing. Occasional trips to properties for meetings.

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
