SIGINT/EW SME
DescriptionThe Airborne Mission Operations (AMO) Division within the Airborne Solutions Operation of Leidos currently has an opening for a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) / Electronic Warfare (EW) Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting multiple manned ISR programs.
The SIGINT / EW SME will be responsible for developing solution concepts, integrating capabilities, defining TTPs, and supporting the sustainment of multiple types of SIGINT and EW systems.
Primary Responsibilities : Lead the development and integration of SIGINT / EW capabilities on aviation platformsSupport the modernization and sustainment of SIGINT / EW systems on aviation platformsProvide SIGINT / EW SME support and training to program mission system operators and techniciansSupport internal research and development (IRAD) efforts and transition technology into relevant programsDevelop requirements for integration of SIGINT / EW systems on airborne platformsDevelop and execute verification and validation activities for integrated SIGINT / EW systemsEvaluation of hardware and software standards to determine limitations that could impact HW / SW convergence, and proposals to reduce those limitationsIntegration of COTS / GOTS SW into multi-functional RF systems.
This SW may provide any range of RF capabilities (SIGINT, EW, Cyber, etc.) or analytical tools supporting exploitation of the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS)Remain current on relevant SIGINT and EW capabilities across industry, government, and academiaBasic Qualifications : BS degree and eight (8)+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with six (6)+ years of prior relevant experience.
Direct experience may be substituted in lieu of degreeEight (8)+ years of experience as an aircrew member operating tactical SIGINT / EW systemsCurrent DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD TS / SCIPrevious intelligence or operations experience providing analysis of multi-source informationExperience with joint cryptologic operationsPrevious ISR mission / intelligence product support experienceAdvanced signals analysis experienceAirborne TECHELINT and OPELINT experienceStrong understanding of frequency agile signalsExperience integrating SIGINT / EW systems on airborne platformsDesired Qualifications : Active DOD TS / SCIExperience with tactical processing, exploitation, and dissemination architectures / capabilities that support RF data collection and analysis in austere mission locationsAir-to-Air and Air-to-Ground communications and mission coordination experiencePrevious ISR instructor / evaluator experience in a combat environmentPrevious experience with line-of sight and beyond-line-of-sight data linksPrevious ICS communication experienceBe willing to deploy to various OCONUS operating locationsCurrent FAA Class II Medical CertificateSuccessfully completed FAA High altitude chamber / physiological trainingFamiliarity with the below a plus : MORA, MOSA, SOSA, CMOSS, GNU Radio, VICTORY, FPGA, Java, Python, C, C++, SOAP, REST, Linux, databases, cryptography, advanced SDR applicationsAirborneISOriginal Posting Date : 2024-03-13While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
Pay Range : Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
