About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing company in the logistics and transportation sector, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong audit foundation who has also worked on the industry side , bringing both rigor and practical operational understanding.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure

accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

• Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, FP&A, and senior leadership to support business decisions.
• Lead audit preparation and coordinate external audit engagements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is ideal.

Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite or similar tools a plus.
