Job Title : Seasonal / Summer Employee
Department : FAES Secrest Arboretum-JM
- The Student Assistant provides assistance to the CFAES Wooster Campus Secrest Arboretum. Assists with planting, weeding, watering new plantings, string trimming, and mulching of tree circles, landscaped areas, and flower beds;
- operates grounds maintenance equipment including string trimmers and backpack blowers; collects trash from Arboretum grounds;
cleans equipment and unit work areas as directed; other duties as assigned.
Start and end dates are flexible, but the Intern is expected to begin work in early to mid-May and continue through early-mid August.
This is a part-time position, but the intern can work up to 38 hours per week during the Summer. The typical workday is 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
Salary is up to $12 per hour.
