Position Summary :

The position will reside in the Client Success team within the MedInsight product group. Technical client support and management are two of the services that have allowed MedInsight to become an industry leader in data warehousing and decision support solutions for major health payers, large employers, and government agencies across the country.

We are looking for a candidate with superior communication skills and solid technical skills who is interested in a long-term employment opportunity in a fast-growing organization.

What you will do?

This position will serve as a direct contact to clients. As a direct contact point, this position will answer day-to-day questions, support product implementation activities, and manage the client’s product once it is in a production environment.

Our clients hire the Client Success team to manage their MedInsight purchase and provide them with the necessary support to best utilize their investment in the product.

The position will work within Microsoft’s SQL Server as well as the Milliman developed MedInsight portal solution to complete client requests.

This position contains both technical and management demands on a daily basis. Healthcare industry and data warehousing knowledge and skills are both required in this position.

The potential candidate may work in conjunction with MedInsight team members outside of US time zones to coordinate support-related tasks for their clients.

This will mean clear communication with team members in a timely manner are critical for allowing them to complete tasks and report back the solutions.

Strong communication and collaboration with team members and clients is required for success.

What do we look for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work with clients on a range of topics including, software functionality, healthcare analytics and data questions
  • 2+ years SQL Server experience / familiarity with querying data within SQL Server
  • Familiarity with big data technologies : Databricks, Spark, Azure Data Factory
  • Prior exposure to healthcare payer side data
  • Applies training and knowledge to perform job duties
  • Learns and can use enterprise tools and processes to perform work
  • Enhances knowledge through learning and challenging project assignments
  • Applies enterprise quality risk management guidelines into work
  • Creates professional and accurate work products
  • High-level individual contribution to challenging projects within subject matter domain

  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

  • Python, R, Scala

This position may also perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned by your supervisors, or as may be required to meet project team goals and objectives.

Some limited travel may be required.

Compensation and Location :

The salary range is $72,000 to $142,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, qualifications, certifications, location, etc.

This role is based out of the Milliman office in Milwaukee, WI, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.
