We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with NetSuite is required, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment is essential. Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries for revenue, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and cash, and perform detailed account reconciliations.
- Take ownership of assigned account reconciliations to ensure all balances are current, properly supported, and aligned with documented policies.
- Maintain the fixed asset ledger, reconciling asset schedules, monitoring capital projects, and collaborating with other teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of lease-related transactions, maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards, and providing detailed financial reports and analysis.
- Assist in remediating previously identified control deficiencies through improved documentation, reconciliation standards, and implementation of new review procedures.
- Develop, document, and test internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Research and interpret accounting standards to address complex accounting issues and provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Streamline accounting processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Help establish repeatable reconciliation and review procedures to prevent future control lapses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on NetSuite accounting software, leveraging advanced functionalities to optimize financial processes.
- Maintain the integrity of financial data within NetSuite and ensure proper system configuration and setup.
- Provide training and support to team members on NetSuite usage and best practices.
- Use NetSuite tools and reporting to automate and monitor reconciliation status, exception items, and review sign-offs.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in the development and implementation of control enhancements.
- Serve as a key contributor to audit remediation efforts, working closely with leadership to implement sustainable control improvements and provide clear audit-ready documentation.
- Respond to audit inquiries and address any findings or recommendations in a timely manner.

Minimum Job Qualifications

Full-time position requiring a standard office schedule of 45+hours per week, Monday through Friday. Flexibility is needed as occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to address business needs. On-Site for the first six (6) months of employment, with hybrid option afterwards, depending on performance.
