Supply Chain Manager

Effectively manage, evaluate and coach team comprised of Buyers, Engineering Production Services, Quoting Specialist and Proposal Administrator.

Develop team with established goals / metrics and track progress, with emphasis on professional development.

Maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time production while minimizing on-hand inventory.

Continually drive for increased inventory turns.

Continue programs of exploration for new suppliers and processes to achieve the optimum quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery.

Provide management team with accurate and relevant data / metrics to drive continuous improvement and decision making.

Remain current on industry trends, notifying relevant team members of potential issues / changes.

Manage the Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP).

Manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and track quality, price and delivery metrics.

Modify processes and procedures for shipping, receiving, transport, and inventory control to reduce waste and increase throughput.

Interface with Program Managers on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments.

Ensure that company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials and department functions.

Other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications : Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of directly related experience in manufacturing industry. Electronics manufacturing experience a plus. High level of comfort with supply chain and inventory management systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of forecasting and budgeting. Extreme proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access required.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00 / yr. The benefits are posted on their website.

Workplace Type : This is a fully onsite position in Frederick, MD.
