Collaborative Quality Initiative QI Lead

Collaborative Quality Initiative (CQI) programs are state-wide, quality improvement collaboratives involving facilities and providers who seek to measure and improve the care and outcomes of patients. They are supported by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) as part of the BCBSM Value Partnerships program. The Michigan Mental Health Innovation Network for Clinical Design (MI Mind) is a CQI housed at Henry Ford Health in partnership with the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Value Partnerships Program. MI Mind seeks a Collaborative Quality Initiative QI Lead (s) with a background in mental health and quality improvement who will work with the Clinical Training and MI Mind Leadership team to direct, facilitate, and coordinate the design and implementation of clinical quality initiatives.

The responsibilities of the QI Lead include :

• Leading or co-leading large collaborative teams
• Guiding implementation plans
• Acting as a consultant or facilitator on regulatory, patient safety, and quality improvement issues
• Developing patient education on suicide prevention
• Disseminating Zero Suicide guidelines
• Presenting on various topics at collaborative meetings
• Creating QI materials for state-wide MI Mind meetings
• Piloting QI Initiatives
• Tracking progress and supporting initiatives
• Developing Value-Based Reimbursement initiatives
• Creating meaningful and reasonable metrics and goals
• Developing each year's Performance Index and Supporting Document
• Staying current on other CQI initiatives
• Recruiting and upbring new MI Mind sites
