Role Description

This is a contracted position. We offer $55 - $70 an hour, contingent on your experience and credentials. For providers who prefer part-time, we have a minimum caseload requirement of 15 client hours a week.

The Counselor will be responsible for conducting virtual therapy sessions with individuals, couples, or families. The Counselor will also be responsible for managing a caseload, maintaining communication with clients, and completing documentation in a timely manner.

The practice will be responsibile for billing, advertising, training, supervision, and many other key components to ensure your success.

This is a part-time position with potential for full-time hours based on the contractor's desired work capacity.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Active and unrestricted license in the State of Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT)
  • Experience providing individual, couples, or family therapy
  • Expertise in evidence-based treatments (e.g. CBT, DBT, EMDR)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with electronic health records and virtual therapy platforms
  • Experience working with underserved and marginalized populations is a plus
