JOB DESCRIPTION A well-established manufacturer of precision machined metal and plastic products located in Orange, is looking for its next Swiss Set up Operator to assist on their 1st shift production.
Responsibilities :
Operate and set up Swiss Tsugami and Hanwha SWISS for metal components with tight tolerances
Daily set ups in a job shop environment.
Take the program and set up the machine and meet production set-up and run times.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years experience
Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up, and program of Swiss Hanwha / Tsugami lathes unsupervised within the required set-up and run times for each operation
Must be capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency
Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps, and soft jaws
Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches

Must have great time management and problem-solving skills
