Urgent care, sometimes known as walk-in care, fast care, or express care, is a convenient option for patients who require timely medical care, but the situation is not an emergency. We treat adults and children ages 3 and older and provide care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, including allergies, asthma, coughs, bronchitis, colds, flu, COVID-19, fever, headache, broken bones, sprains and strains, eye and ear infections, rashes, cuts, sexually transmitted infections, stomach pain, diarrhea, and vomiting. Because patients typically come to us when they aren't feeling their best, it is incredibly important to us that our staff members strive to provide the compassion and emotional support our patients need.
We are seeking a part-time Clinic / Practice Assistant II to support our Urgent Care Resource Call Center! This role will be 25 hours per week, consisting of two 12.5-hour shiftstypically scheduled on weekdays. The position also includes working every third Saturday and being on-call every ninth weekend (both Saturday and Sunday). Since Urgent Care is a 7-day-per-week operation that delivers care during the day, evening, weekends, and holidays, the schedule for this role may also require holiday coverage as needed. Please Note : Employees are expected to be onsite for all hours worked during the first week of employment for onboarding / training. This role will be fully remote after the successful completion of the training program with occasional in-person training as needed. Job Summary
Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties. Actual job duties may vary by Department.
