Job Description

Provides accurate and timely assignment of appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes on the medical records for the purpose of collecting and indexing quality health information for routine patient types (outpatient diagnostic, outpatient physician practice / clinic, inpatient physician services and / or emergency room encounters).

Experience

• 3 years of experience in hospital and / or physician practice outpatient coding
