Signature Aviation is seeking a dedicated and experienced operations and commercially minded leader to serve as the primary point of contact for NetJets.

This role will be located in-person at NetJets HQ in Columbus, OH, and is responsible for fostering a strong and mutually beneficial relationship between Signature Aviation and NetJets.

This leader will own all aspects of the operational NetJets relationship for Signature Aviation, coordinating with internal teams to execute projects, and collaborating with the commercial team to drive financial outcomes that benefit both organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Operates with a holistic understanding of Signature’s strategic pillars / values, base operations, and successfully navigates projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Build and maintain a strong and positive relationship with NetJets, serving as their main point of contact for all operational matters related to Signature Aviation.
  • Promotes and holds Signature Aviation teams accountable for meeting outlined SLA and KPI performance for each NetJet location.
  • In coordination with the Commercial team, facilitate QBR reviews between companies and establish dashboarding on SLA and KPI performance, including the tracking of deviations and providing root cause to ensure terms are being met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, Commercial, HR, Finance and Airport Relations, to ensure the successful completion of projects that align with NetJets' requirements and expectations.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost-saving initiatives that create mutually beneficial financial outcomes for both Signature Aviation and NetJets.
  • Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of operational portions of contracts between companies, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Proactively identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the course of the relationship, working diligently to find mutually satisfactory solutions.
  • Improving customer service and satisfaction scores with passengers as well as NJ pilots.
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to improve the partnership and achieve financial objectives.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication channels with both internal teams and NetJets to ensure alignment on goals, objectives, and project timelines.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to provide strategic recommendations and insights for the benefit of the partnership.

Minimum Education and / or Experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or ten (10) years related experience and / or training, with at least five (5) years related general aviation management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing complex field-based operations; multi-site experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions, including finance, customer service, and employee management; experience with large account customers a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
  • Experience in real estate including, but not limited to, leases, contracts, and negotiations
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets
  • Strong working knowledge of performance metrics with the ability to analyze and interpret data

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to work in a cross-functional organization
  • Strong computer and presentation skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business financial statements, key performance indicators, business and real estate contracts, and airport and governmental regulations
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to travel regularly, recommended 60-75%
