Lake Washington School District is seeking qualified middle school Special Education Teachers for positions in a Transition Room setting for the 2023-2024 school year. This general posting will be used to build an applicant pool. Building administrators will contact candidates if selected for an interview.

The transition center program supports students with cognitive impairments and adaptive behavior delays, providing academic, vocational, and behavioral support within a special education classroom and through collaboration with general education teachers.

Qualifications :

Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.

Salary :

Paid according to the teacher salary schedule, including Base contract, additional contracts for LEAP days and responsibilities, a technology stipend, and a professional fund.
