Job Description

This position is working with our federal clients; US Citizenship is required. Travel up to 100% based on project needs (primarily to Kansas City), also including customer site support for deployment and go-live activities.

We're on a journey to advance how health happens with technologies that empower patients, support clinicians, inspire innovation, and save lives.

Our mission? To create a human-centric healthcare experience powered by unified global data.

It's a big challenge, but big challenges are what we do best. We're already transforming some of the world's largest health systems-helping them turn data into lifesaving decisions and better patient care.

We want people just as dedicated as we are to improving health equity and delivering quality care across the globe. If you're excited about making healthcare more human, you've come to the right place.

Oracle Health Consulting is seeking an experienced Rev Cycle Trainer to deliver and continuously improve training programs supporting large-scale EHR implementations and adoption efforts-particularly in Federal environments. This role blends advanced training delivery with consulting-grade workflow expertise and select back-end/build knowledge to ensure end users are prepared, confident, and productive at go-lives and beyond.

This role will need to support one of the following specialties/workstreams below:
  • Revenue Cycle
  • Registration, Scheduling, HIM and other front end billing
Responsibilities

Training Strategy & Delivery
  • Deliver training programs (in-person and virtual) across multiple skill levels and audiences, including deployment and go-live training.
  • Work in partnership with the Design Learning Consultants to review and provide recommended updates to training content and enablement assets (job aids, guides, scenario-based exercises) to reflect workflow and build changes.
  • Apply adult learning principles and data-driven approaches to improve learner engagement and retention.
Clinical & Operational Workflow Enablement (Consulting + Adoption Focus)
  • Provide clinical subject matter expertise across a specific training program.
  • Support change management and end-user adoption by identifying gaps, resistance points, and practical remediation strategies.
Training Quality, Coaching, and Performance Improvement
  • Assess trainer effectiveness and provide structured coaching through observations and 1:1 feedback sessions to improve delivery consistency and outcomes.
    • Identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted interventions (refresher training, office hours, microlearning, remediation pathways).
    • Monitor training impact and contribute to continuous improvement cycles based on feedback and performance trends.
Measurement, Reporting & Stakeholder Management
  • Track and analyze training KPIs (e.g., satisfaction, completion, proficiency/skill improvements) and tailor training plans accordingly.
  • Provide status updates to senior leaders and project teams, communicating progress, risks, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (clinical, technical, operations, and external partners) to align training with solution design and organizational goals.
EMR / Back-End and Cross-Domain Enablement (Depth Expectations)
  • Leverage deeper solution knowledge to explain system behavior, workflow interdependencies, and design decision impacts to both clinical and operational audiences.
  • Contribute to solution readiness by aligning training scenarios to configuration decisions and helping mitigate workflow/build-related risks.
Compliance, Security, and Working Model
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures; safeguard corporate and client assets.
  • Willingness to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations (common during go-lives).
  • Certain client-facing roles may require compliance with immunization and occupational health mandates.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education: bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Learning & Development, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience as a user or doing system build/configuration for Oracle Health Rev Cycle solutions, specifically Registration, Scheduling, HIM and other front end billing

      Experience:
  • Some experience delivering EHR training, adult learning, coaching, and supporting end-user adoption in healthcare environments.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
      • Core skills: strong communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly; adaptability and customer focus.
      • Technical tools: proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with LMS and digital learning tools preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with large-scale EHR implementations, including Federal agencies or similarly regulated environments.
  • Experience conducting needs analysis, developing training programs, and assessing training effectiveness.
  • Advanced degree in Informatics or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate data analysis into training strategy and performance improvement.
Travel & Work Environment :
  • Travel up to 100% based on project needs (primarily to Kansas City), also including customer site support for deployment and go-live activities.
