With over 30 years in practice, one of the country's leading architectural and interior design firms specializing in life sciences, education, and workplace is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their San Francisco, Mountain View, or Sacramento office. The studio specializes in the design of laboratories, clean rooms, manufacturing facilities, data centers, and high-performance workplace environments, for clients working in the life sciences, electronics, mission-critical, education, and medicine.
With 180+ staff, they provide programming, master planning, building, and interior design services, including laboratory, cGMP, and medical planning, to new and established companies, institutions, developers, and healthcare providers. Office locations include Mountain View, San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Diego.
The ideal candidate will have a balance of design and technical skills and proven experience delivering large complex Type 1 Core and Shell projects. A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial core and shell architecture is required (life science/high-tech experience is a plus). Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture and California licensure is preferred. Team & Client Management skills is required. (Senior Project Manager candidates with 15-20+ years of experience will lead into a future Principal position!)
