Facilities Security Administrator

Key Role :

Provide security administration services to assist the Government's Area Security Officer with personnel security requirements.

Open security actions and maintain security records. Maintain, verify, and facilitate clearance information. Handle requests for building access and clearance certification and verification for visitors.

Ensure employees are apprised of security issues, processes, and procedures. Respond to queries and requests for guidance and assistance in matters pertaining to security issues, processes, problems, or timelines.

Assist with annual self-inspections, security compliance inspections, facilitating the transmission of materials, tracking facility inventory, and facility communication and equipment capabilities.

Assist in escorting visitors and maintenance personnel.

Basic Qualifications :

• 2+ years of experience with providing security administrative assistance in support of the DoD or Intelligence Community
• Experience with reviewing and updating Security Classification Guides (SCGs), updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and writing and editing official memorandums in support of government inspections
• Experience with providing security support in managing recurring reports and activities, classified inventories, safe combination changes, and Communication Security (COMSEC) support
• Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint
• Knowledge working with PERSEC in the Defense Information Security System managing Visitor Access Requests and Periodic Reinvestigations
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications :

• Experience with DoD 5205.07 Vol(s) 1-4, Intelligence Community Directive 705 series, SECNAV M-5510.30, NISPOM, or applicable DoD, IC, and National level security directives
• Experience with physical security
• Experience in document control and inventory management
• Bachelor's degree

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
