HR Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing full-cycle onboarding, maintaining employee records, and supporting various HR functions to ensure compliance and efficiency within our dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support full-cycle onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and system setup.
- Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll support for hourly employees.
- Provide support with California meal and rest break compliance, wage and hour regulations, and labor law postings.
- Assist with workers' compensation claims, return-to-work coordination in HRIS System, and injury documentation.
- Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Translate HR communications and assist with employee interactions for Spanish-speaking employees.
- Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
- Support ITAR compliance requirements, including proper documentation and employment eligibility verification.
- Coordinate employee training, safety programs, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with audits and reporting related to HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Run daily and weekly reports as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- 2+ years of HR administrative or HR coordinator experience.
- Knowledge of California labor laws and wage and hour regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems, payroll support, and timekeeping systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments preferred.
Work Environment
This position is situated within a manufacturing or aerospace production environment, requiring interaction with production employees, supervisors, and management. The role involves walking and supporting the production floor while adhering to safety protocols.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynwood, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
