Compliance & Immigration Manager Jobs in USA 2026 This Compliance & Immigration Manager position is based in Santa Monica, California and sits within the Talent function, focusing on employment compliance and immigration programme management across North American operations. The role combines regulatory oversight, policy governance, immigration strategy, and stakeholder partnership to ensure the organisation maintains compliance with evolving employment and immigration requirements. The position supports leadership teams and collaborates across multiple business functions to deliver a streamlined employee experience while managing employment and immigration processes at scale. Job Duties Lead employment compliance initiatives across state, federal, and local regulatory environments. Maintain and update internal policies in alignment with legal and organizational requirements. Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, IT, and Talent teams to strengthen compliance processes. Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory agencies and maintain audit‑ready documentation. Design and deliver training programmes covering employment compliance topics and workplace practices. Serve as the main internal contact for compliance‑related questions from employees and leadership. Coordinate immigration processes for non‑immigrant and immigrant visa programmes. Support immigration filings across H‑1B, L‑1, TN, PERM, I‑140, I‑485, J‑1, and F‑1 categories. Collaborate with external immigration counsel and internal stakeholders on case management. Manage immigration budgets and monitor programme performance and spending trends. Provide employees and managers with guidance on immigration timelines, documentation, and case progress. Compile documentation for regulatory reporting and audit activities including employment‑related filings. Identify opportunities to improve compliance and immigration workflows and implement process enhancements. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Five or more years of Human Resources experience. Exposure to immigration programme management and employment compliance activities. Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local employment and immigration regulations. Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple stakeholders. Strong planning, organisational, analytical, and communication skills. Track record of maintaining high levels of accuracy and regulatory compliance. Experience managing projects and identifying process improvement opportunities. Ability to interpret evolving compliance requirements and translate them into operational practices.
