Director of Sales Meyer Lab is seeking a self‑directed, highly motivated and accomplished individual to join our Meyer family as our Director of Sales. The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and leading the execution of the company’s sales strategy through effective leadership, team development, and market expansion. This role will oversee the sales organization, establish performance objectives, develop scalable sales processes, and empower the team to achieve aggressive growth targets. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success in direct sales, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to build high‑performing teams while fostering long‑term customer relationships. Responsibilities Develop and execute the company’s overall sales strategy to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability goals. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales managers, regional leaders, and direct sales representatives. Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships with key accounts and strategic partners. Oversee the development and management of the sales management team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Conduct regular field visits, ride‑alongs, and coaching sessions with sales teams to improve execution. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and key areas for growth. Ensure CRM systems are effectively utilized for pipeline management, reporting, and sales accountability. Create and implement sales processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and sales effectiveness. Develop sales forecasting models and provide accurate revenue projections to executive leadership. Present sales results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership. Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities 5+ years of progressive sales experience, including proven success managing and developing leaders of high‑performing direct sales teams Proven success growing revenue through field sales, territory management, and customer acquisition Strong understanding of direct sales methodologies, pipeline management, and sales analytics Excellent coaching, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Experience using CRM platforms and sales reporting tools Ability to travel regularly to support field teams and customers Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive growth and profitability Proactive, driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Travel & Physical Requirements Travel will be required 75% of the time Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
