Senior Technical Program Manager, AI/ML, Finance
Advanced experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in program management. Experience working with AI to prototype and iterate designs, establishing the groundwork for final development. Experience managing the software development lifecycle and shipping technical products.
Preferred qualifications: 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience working within or with finance domains (e.g., accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, procure-to-pay). Knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, data governance, and business intelligence principles. Ability to influence without direct authority and drive consensus across cross-functional and executive stakeholders. Excellent investigative, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google.
Responsibilities: Partner with finance stakeholders, including SMEs and process owners, to understand business tests, processes, and opportunities for AI and data-driven solutions. Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, solution designs, and project roadmaps, considering the key AI/ML capabilities. Lead and manage the lifecycle of technical projects, encompassing discovery, design, prototyping, development, integration, testing, launch, and ongoing monitoring. Build and iterate on prototypes that can serve as the foundational design for development. Connect insights and opportunities across different finance functions and technical initiatives to maximize impact and efficiency.
