As an Assistant Supervisor at Pine Rest, you'll be part of a tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. Under general supervision and according to departmental policies and procedures and within the individual plan of care performs the role of physical and emotional care given to clients with mental illness and/or developmental delays. Is responsible to actively participate in safety management, milieu management, crisis intervention and prevention. The Assistant Supervisor is dedicated to excellent customer service, enthusiastic about the care we offer, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides a safe and secure environment for persons served and staff in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborates in day-to-day planning/development of person served programming and implementation of programs.
• May assist persons served with personal care.
• Actively participate in safety management, crisis intervention and prevention.
• Survey, document, and report all safety repair and maintenance needs.
• Perform household duties such as cleaning, cooking and laundry. Drives and escorts persons served to community outings and to appointments.
• Documents all progress notes, medication administration, and any other relevant information, reporting any immediate concerns according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Responsible to monitor for and report to the designated staff any potential risk to person's served safety that could lead to an adverse outcome.
• May be responsible for both random and scheduled drug testing and conducting searches of persons served and their belongings.

Education/Experience:

• Work requires the ability to read, understand and follow directions, and do computations at a level typically acquired in high school or equivalent. An Associate's Degree or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities may be required.
• Minimum of three months experience in related field.
• Ability to provide culturally inclusive care with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community setting.
• Strong organizational skills are required to prioritize a variety of job tasks and functions. Ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency of electronic systems is required to perform tasks using data and/or ability to learn systems.

The equivalent base pay range for this position is $18.90 - $28.36. Your interview and offer letter will specify whether the role is hourly or salaried. Please note that this range does not include potential shift differentials, incentives, or bonuses, which may be part of the total compensation package. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.
