SADs are depended on to run accounts autonomously with oversight from FischTank’s Senior Team, ensuring positive outcomes both for clients and FischTank team members. This is a role best suited for someone who is a self-starter and ambitious, looking to learn from their colleagues and our established roster of clients. Qualifications 8+ years’ experience at a PR agency working with Energy Tech companies Demonstrable experience as an account lead, driving positive outcomes through strategy while successfully managing teams Demonstrable experience and subject matter expertise within Energy Tech A strong network of reporter relationships including top tier and trade An initiative to achieve media results that impact client business Strong writing skills that translate to PR outcomes (press releases, bylines, op-eds, blog posts) Well organized, autonomous, self-starter Open-minded, ready to learn, growth mind-set Shows desire to grow as a professional in the PR space Receives constructive feedback well and sees it as a growth opportunity Works well in an open, team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google (Search + G-Suite) Fundamental understanding of social media use for business Responsibilities Reports to VPs Own account, team management, and media relations strategy and execution on 6-8 accounts – you are the lead. Day-to-day account responsibilities to include overall account strategy, including proactive media relations tactics; developing both near term and longer term client initiative roadmaps; pitch writing, byline writing, press releases, media pitching, review of team content, client counsel, and more.
