Risk Analyst (Critical Infrastructure)
As a Critical Infrastructure Analyst, you act as a trusted advisor to our clients' day in and day out. Responsibilities include conducting preliminary research, supporting data collection through facilitated discussions with stakeholders, performing dependency and interdependency analyses, and contributing to the development of draft and final assessment reports. Additionally, you will assist in the implementation of resilience enhancement options identified during the assessment process, including workshops, technical reports, and data integration.
What you will do as a Critical Infrastructure Analyst :
- Conduct sector-specific infrastructure analyses for assessment projects, leveraging supercomputing resources for specialized assessments.
- Develop background packages to inform data collection and partner selection for projects.
- Support facilitated discussions with private sector, local, state, and federal stakeholders to gather data inputs.
- Contribute to the development of resiliency assessment reports, including technical editing, graphics, and change management.
- Assist in implementing resilience enhancement options through workshops, training, and progress tracking.
- Directed dependency and resiliency analyses through outward-facing infrastructure assessments, evaluating interdependencies, vulnerabilities, and continuity factors across critical assets to strengthen resilience strategies beyond legacy CARVER methodologies.
Requirements :
US citizenship required.Secret clearance required.Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Environmental Science. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas are preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical infrastructure sectors, with a focus on resilience assessments, disaster recovery, or risk analysis. Experience working with federal agencies or within the DHS space is highly desirable.Proficiency in data analysis and modeling, and sector-specific analysis tools.Strong capability to conduct detailed assessments and develop actionable recommendations, with a proven track record of contributing to the development of complex reports and technical documents.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and community organizations.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, including coordinating with various levels of government and private sector partners while giving actionable recommendations for critical infrastructure protection.Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on resilience enhancement and the ability to develop and implement solutions in response to identified risks and vulnerabilities.Applied experience in critical infrastructure analysis to evaluate sector interdependencies, identify potential disruptions, and support resilience-focused decision-making for mission-essential assets.Experience in managing or supporting multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
