Vizient Intern Program Overview : This program is designed to foster a beneficial relationship and provide growth opportunities for Vizient, our employees, and collegiate students. Since 2000, our summer intern program has provided college undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students with practical experience that exposes them to multiple aspects of a career field and the healthcare industry. This full-time, paid intern program offers an opportunity to accelerate academic learning, apply classroom knowledge, and introduce students to a professional setting. Interns are assigned a supervisor to mentor / develop their business skills, as well as monitor their work experiences. Interns are integral members of the company's team, setting goals, working toward deadlines, and actively participating in community service projects.

The program requires the intern to commit to 10 weeks of participation in all formal training, mentoring, on-the-job learning, and opportunities to interact with senior leaders.

Program starts June 1, 2026, and ends August 7, 2026

40 hours per week with a pay rate of $24 per hour.

We provide the tools and training necessary to succeed, as well as provide intentional development opportunities such as :

• Network opportunities with cross-functional teams to learn about various areas within the organization.

• Value-added project management skills.
• Intern-led community impact projects and various team-building activities outside of work.

What You Will Do :

We are seeking a highly motivated Indirect Spend Food Intern to support a series of high-impact, AI-enabled projects that enhance analytics, automation, and scalability across Vizient's food sourcing and consulting functions. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain analytics, sourcing strategy, and the practical application of AI in business processes. Maintain and update internal SharePoint content, including the VizTech Knowledge Hub and other team pages.
