Forklift OperatorPay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour Forklift Operator (1st Shift) Location: Springfield, OH | Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire | Pay: $19.50 to $21.00 per hourAbout the Role: Our client, a regional distribution center, needs Forklift Operators to load, unload, and move product safely across a busy warehouse. You will be part of a team that keeps orders moving on time. Schedule Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime is available during peak season.What You'll Do:Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to move, stack, and stage productLoad and unload trucks and containersScan inventory with a handheld device and keep records accurateComplete a daily equipment safety check and report any issuesKeep aisles, docks, and work areas clean and clearRequired Qualifications:Must be 18 years or olderAbility to pass a background check and drug screenAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for a full shiftAvailability to work the 1st shift schedule aboveAbility to read and follow safety signage and instructions in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:6+ months of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution settingCurrent forklift certification (we will certify the right candidate if you do not have one)Experience with a warehouse management system or handheld scannersReach truck or order picker experienceWhat We Offer:Weekly payPaid training and forklift certification supportMedical, dental, and vision optionsOpportunity to be hired on by our client after 90 daysAbout Us:At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
