Job Summary:

As an Anderson Caregiver with Altra Homecare of Kokomo, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by delivering personalized care and assistance in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team and provide essential personal care services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary

• Provide medication reminders

• Ensure patient safety

• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor

• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required

• Monitor and record patient temperature

• Assist patients with ambulation

• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols

• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines

• Offer bathing assistance

• Perform light housekeeping

• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading

Requirements:

• Be 18 years of age or older

• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance

• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided

• Current CPR certification

• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws
