Job description

Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst

In-Flight Crew Connections (IFCC) is growing, and we're looking for a talented Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with the numbers while also digging deeper to understand what they mean for the business.

Reporting directly to our CFO, this role will have visibility across the organization and play an important part in financial reporting, forecasting, month-end close, profitability analysis, pricing, and business decision support.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare financial and management reporting focused on revenue, profitability, and margins
  • Support budgets, forecasts, rolling projections, and variance analysis
  • Independently prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
  • Analyze client and program profitability, including revenue, labor costs, payroll taxes, benefits, travel, overtime, and other direct costs
  • Support pricing, RFPs, renewals, and new business opportunities through cost and margin analysis
  • Reconcile and analyze data across financial, payroll, staffing, and billing systems
  • Build recurring reports, dashboards, and financial models that give leadership greater visibility into business performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, data quality, and reporting processes

The role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with financial planning and commercial analysis, including evaluating bill/pay rates, markups, contract terms, and client profitability.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience spanning general accounting and financial analysis
  • Hands-on experience with journal entries, accruals, financial statements, reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex financial information into clear business insights
  • Someone who can work independently while partnering effectively with Finance, Operations, Sales, HR, and leadership

Experience in staffing, aviation, professional services, or another labor-intensive business is a plus, as is experience with client profitability, pricing, payroll, BI, or systems such as UKG, Bullhorn, Zoho, or Drivetrain.

What Success Looks Like: You'll be successful in this role when you can independently deliver accurate close and reporting work, uncover meaningful financial insights, resolve discrepancies, and help leadership better understand the drivers behind business performance. If you're an accounting and finance professional who enjoys connecting the numbers to the bigger business picture, we'd love to hear from you!

Apply today or share this opportunity with someone who may be a great fit.
