Litigation Associate (Charlotte)

About the role:
A respected full-service law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Charlotte office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 5-15 years of litigation experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Practice Focus:
This role will primarily support a broad range of litigation and commercial litigation matters. Experience with landlord representation, real estate litigation, and property management-related disputes is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of litigation from case inception through trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
- Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings
- Collaborate with attorneys across various practice areas
- Develop case strategy and maintain strong client relationships
- Handle matters independently while working within a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active North Carolina Bar admission required
- 5-15 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-motivated, organized, and committed to professional growth
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $160,000-$210,000
