Location: Chamberlain, South Dakota

Schedule: 48 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday; 3 call shifts required per 13-week contractHighlights:

• Cross-trained position floating between Med Surg and OB units in a 25-bed facility
• Med Surg patient ratio typically 3–4:1 depending on census and acuity
• Epic electronic charting system with comprehensive training provided
• Orientation includes Epic computer training, 1 day OB training, and 1 day Med Surg training
• 13-week assignment with structured call requirements
• Professional environment using Sanford One Charge and Pixis medication systems

Requirements:

• Active RN license (South Dakota license or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• At least 6 months Med Surg experience within the past year
• At least 6 months OB experience within the past year
• BLS certification (required before start)
• ACLS certification (required before start)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required before start)
• TNCC certification (preferred)
• Ability to function independently in emergency situations and manage up to 5 patients in Med Surg
• Must comply with facility badging and dress code policies (navy blue scrubs)
