GPAC is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a national multifamily and mixed-use builder. The company is adding an Assistant Project Manager - Commercial General Contractor to its team in Newport News, VA. This is an urgent, high-priority opening.
The Role
Focus: 3+ years of general contractor experience.
Responsibilities
- Support multifamily and mixed-use projects
- Support the PM with submittals, RFIs, procurement and subcontractor coordination
- Track budgets, change orders and schedules
- Grow toward full project management responsibility
Requirements
- 3+ years of general contractor experience.
- Proven record of delivering work safely, on time and on budget
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Procore, Bluebeam, P6 or similar a plus
